Draft regulator 012 RaRo / 012 RaRo E from Kutzner & Weber – precise draft control for exhaust systems
Product overview
The draft regulator 012 RaRo and its variant 012 RaRo E are components of air group 4 according to DIN 4795 for reliable regulation of chimney draft. Both models offer high control accuracy, a self-acting and self-cleaning knife bearing, and a universal connection for easy flue pipe installation.
Key features
The devices are equipped with a robust turnbuckle for secure fastening and can be retrofitted to existing connecting lines – regardless of their slope. With cover segments, pipe diameters from 100 to 180 mm can be covered.
The design is intended for long-lasting function and minimal maintenance: the self-cleaning knife bearing reduces deposits and ensures consistent control characteristics over long operating periods.
Benefits for operators
Stable draft control improves combustion conditions in fireplaces, reduces fuel consumption, and thus lowers operating costs. At the same time, emissions are reduced, which decreases environmental impact.
The easy retrofitting on existing lines makes the draft regulator an economical solution for modernization and maintenance without extensive conversion work.
Installation and assembly
For installation, the universal connector piece is mounted onto the flue pipe, and the draft regulator is secured with the turnbuckle. The flexible design allows installation regardless of the slope of the connecting line.
Thanks to the cover segments, no custom fabrication is required for common pipe diameters between 100 and 180 mm, which reduces time and material effort during installation.
Technical Data
Designed for Pipe diameters 100–180 mm using cover segments; complies with air group 4 according to DIN 4795. The mechanics and bearings are optimized for durable function and precise control.
Fastening is done via a turnbuckle; a universal connector piece for flue pipe mounting is included in the scope of delivery. For detailed dimensions and connection specifications, please refer to the technical data sheet.
Maintenance and Care
Thanks to the self-cleaning blade bearing, maintenance effort is reduced. Regular visual and functional inspections as part of the usual chimney maintenance are sufficient to ensure long-term, trouble-free operation.
If needed, spare parts and service are available; maintenance intervals depend on the respective application and the operator's regulations.
Areas of application
The draft regulator is suitable for residential and building fireplaces as well as commercial flue systems where constant and controlled draft management is required. It is ideal under fluctuating external conditions such as wind and temperature changes.
Thanks to its retrofittable design, the product is particularly suitable for modernizing older systems as well as for operators who want to improve the energy efficiency of their heating systems.
Manufacturing and quality
The draft regulators are manufactured in Germany from high-quality materials and are subject to strict manufacturing standards. Precise manufacturing processes ensure durable and reliable components.
Conformity with relevant standards and high-quality workmanship guarantee safe and efficient use in a wide variety of flue systems.
Scope of delivery and accessories
The scope of delivery includes the draft regulator including a universal connection piece for flue pipe installation. Additional cover segments for adapting to different pipe diameters are included.
Optional accessories and spare parts as well as technical documentation can be ordered separately; please contact your specialist dealer or the manufacturer for this purpose.
